SITTING DOWN WITH LVMH

Lights, cameras, and one-of-a-kind, luxury goods. We recently were afforded the opportunity to sit down with the famous LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (known as LVMH for short). The johnnypuetz Productions team came together to produce several interviews for internal communication and connection, helping to solidify the fashion conglomerate's unshakeable brand story.

Over a 3-day shoot in bustling Midtown Manhattan, we captured key players from the likes of iconic brands like Tiffany and Marc Jacobs. Get a glimpse into our process of creating polished assets for LVMH:

Partnering with Global Brands

Being in based in NYC has its perks– our global city acts as hub for the biggest brands, and so partnering from across the pond with LVMH’s team in France is just another day for us. Ahead of shooting, we collaborated to create a 3-day shoot schedule in downtown Manhattan, serving as the perfect backdrop for the elegance LVMH exudes.

It’s no surprise that top talent at Tiffany, Marc Jacobs, and LVMH as a whole run on a tight schedule, so we put together an efficient schedule that would seamlessly move from one interview to the next, keeping our focus on spotlighting our talent.

Creating an Elegant Interview Atmosphere

For this series, we put together a polished interview setup, featuring two cameras and a teleprompter to assist our talent. We placed one of our cameras on a moving dolly, building that classic professional look into the edit.

Together, we transformed a simple room into a welcoming yet neutral environment serving as the perfect backdrop for the internal communication assets.

Helping Talent Shine on Camera

With four featured talents, we had to move swiftly to ensure that we created plenty of space to help our clients feel our best while on camera. Fortunately, our team's efficiencies ensure that everyone stays on schedule, without feeling rushed moving from one scene to the next.

Our staggered schedule allowed one guest to be in hair and make-up whilst the other talent was in camera, building a logical flow throughout the day.

It’s understandable that some talent may feel intimidated by being in front of the camera, but with our guidance and direction, we had no issue bringing out the best in the variety of featured voices.

We were happy to hear from both LVMH as a whole and the talents themselves that everyone had an amazing experience on set. At johnnypuetz Productions, we strive to end every set with smiles, which was certainly the case with the excellent team at LVMH.
